Karoo Craft Breweries (Pty) Ltd, situated on the premises of Simonsvlei Winery, Old Paarl Road (R101), Paarl, was established in 2015 and started operating in August 2016 as a contract brewing facility. As from December 2016, Karoo Craft Breweries launched their own beer in the marketplace and the beer was so well accepted by the public that the need for the KCB brand overtook the contract brewing business which lead to the situation that Karoo Craft Breweries is only brewing for their own brand now.
