Babylonstoren’s wines are produced in a state-of-the-art winery and are made to showcase the soils and climate where their grapes are grown.
The Tasting Room sits adjacent to the wine cellar, offering views of the conical Babylonstoren hill, Simonsberg and the Banghoek Mountains. Wine tastings are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The Tasting Room is open daily – from 10h00 to 18h00 in summer and 10h00 to 17h00 in winter.
The wine museum, The Story of Wine, is not to be missed. This interactive space is a visual documentary of the history and cultivation of wine, accompanied by a captivating audio guide.
- Join their cellar tours (includes a full wine tasting in the subterranean wine tunnel) at 10h00, 13h00 and 16h00.
- The olive oil and balsamic vinegar tours take place at 11h00, 13h00 and 15h00.
