Everything at The Goatshed Restaurant at Fairview is guided by their philosophy that fresh and homemade is always better. They aim to bring the paddock and the farm as close to the table as they can, preparing their dishes from scratch and making sure they use as much of the produce as possible with as little waste as they can manage.

The bread they serve you comes fresh out of the bakery oven. The wine, beer and cheese on their menu is produced directly on the Fairview farm, as is the wonderful olive oil that they use. Likewise, their free-range eggs, chicken, beef, and lamb come straight from the farm to your plate.

Their vibrant garden provides them with the herbs they need for their dishes, while the bustling farm kitchen takes care of things like homemade ice teas, delicious condiments, old-fashioned jams – and even the yoghurt in their smoothies.
