BABYLONSTOREN WORKSHOPS
Babylonstoren’s hands-on workshops are hosted by experts and are a great way to try your hand at new skills. Starting with a walk through the garden, it is usually a full-day affair with lunch under the oak trees at the Greenhouse Restaurant or The Bakery.
The May month line-up includes workshops such as “Get funky with fermentation’, ‘Combat garden pests naturally’, ‘Broadening your gardening horizons with indigenous trees’ and ‘Bird spotting’.
OPEN STUDIO AT NANETTE RANGER ART STUDIO
The Nanette Ranger Art Studio will be hosting an Open Studio event in conjunction with the Paarl Art Society on 8 May 2021 from 10am – 5pm. Nanette’s sculptures will be on exhibit at her studio at 3 Laborie Street, Courtrai, Paarl as well as nearby at the restaurant Cucina Di Giovanni’s at Laborie Wine Estate. This will be the last opportunity to view or buy some of the sculptures that have come to the end of their line. Come and meet the artist and join her for a glass of wine and snacks!

POTTERY AT PERDEBERG WITH EVE’S ART
Paint and design your own dishing tray under the guidance of Eve’s Art at Perdeberg on Saturday, 8 May 2021 from 10am – 12pm. The class includes a glass of bubbly, all equipment and a guided class, 30cm x 30cm bisque ware platter and firing of the platters afterwards by Madeleine Eve. Your dishing tray can be collected from Perdeberg when completed.
