Enjoy time out with your family or the peace-and-quiet of a secret corner on this estate. The estate is child friendly and offers wonderful activities for children – ranging from a jungle gym to jumping castles, a lawn to run free, play ball or dance and most importantly, to be safe while having fun. Pets are also welcome when kept on a leash and cleaned after.

NEDERBURG
The Manor at Nederburg invites you to spend time relaxing on their lawns. Take in the magnificent views of the winelands with their manor house as backdrop. Their generous picnic baskets offer a selection of local cheeses and charcuterie to start, accompanied by olives, pickles, nuts and hummus with freshly baked bread rolls. The main course of roasted baby chicken with potatoes Lyonnaise and a crisp salad will be served by their friendly staff as they top up your glasses with non-alcoholic bubbly. To finish enjoy a deliciously decadent chocolate brownie.

FABER (Avondale Wine Estate)
Picnics are available on Saturday and Sundays during the summer season. There are six picnic spots at Avondale Wine Estate. Each picnic spot has a picnic table which can seat up to six people and each spot will also be supplied with a picnic blanket. The picnic area is not a serviced area. You are more than welcome to buy your wine or cooldrinks when you collect your basket either at the Ochra Deli or the wine tasting area.
All picnics can be picked up at the tasting room at Avondale Wine Estate from 12 noon on day of booked picnic (unless otherwise requested).
