This Father’s Day, The Manor at Nederburg is the definitive destination for all the flavours dad loves. Our chef has prepared a special breakfast and lunch menu featuring classic family-favourite dishes, but with a luxurious touch fit for a king – or the chief of your tribe.
The breakfast menu will be served from 8:30 until 11:30, costs R195 per person and includes a coffee or mimosa on arrival, Yoghurt and Muesli with Caramelised Nuts, and your choice of our sumptuous hot breakfast options: The Manor Breakfast, Smoked Trout Breakfast Bowl, Vegetarian Breakfast Bowl or French Toast.
Lunch will be a Sunday feast for the ages, served from 11:30 until 16:00 at only R350 per person. a variety of fresh Breads, Pâtés and flavoured Butter. For the main course, guests can choose from the following hero proteins: Lamb Shank Osso Bucco with Cabernet Sauvignon jus, Beef Fillet with Biltong jus, or Boerewors-stuffed Chicken Fillet with Brandy Cream Sauce. The equally delicious complementary sides include hand-cut Potato Wedges, Green Vegetables, Caramelised Butternut with Homemade Dukkha, plus Strawberry and Feta Salad with Balsamic dressing.
Dessert is sure to end the meal on a high note, with a choice between Black-forest Cake with Cherry and Van Rhyn 12-year-old whipped cream, or Malva pudding with Raspberry Amarula Custard.
The festivity continues with live afternoon music, which will make the whole family want to linger and soak up the awe-inspiring scenery of our winelands.
